What To Know
- You can use your bank card to pay almost anywhere in Europe. If you need some local cash, it is best to use an ATM. When you withdraw cash from an ATM, the currency conversion will be done automatically by your bank, and the exchange rate will usually be much better than if you exchange currency at a local bank. Some places in Germany do not take credit cards, make sure you have some cash (Euros) on you.
- Water isn't free in the restaurants. Free public toilets are quite rare, we suggest you have some change with you as well.
- You will find many places (restaurants and shops) closed on Sundays.
- The tour program includes some walking tours, we recommend you to pack comfortable shoes. During your tour, be careful not to walk on the bike line.
